Spanish Language courses for children are communicative based with an emphasis on developing speaking and listening skills. Students also learn grammar and structure and develop their reading and writing skills.
Spanish for Kids and Teens course is divided by age, and within the age groups we divide once again to higher and lower levels. The teachers, all of whom have extensive experience teaching Spanish to kids, use games, music, drama and role-plays as well as textbook learning in the classroom.
All our teachers are native Spanish speakers dedicated to teaching Spanish to speakers of other languages. All of them have university degrees and experience and are passionate about teaching their native language.
Arizona Language Institute in Phoenix offers small, student-centered Spanish language classes for all levels of Spanish proficiency - from complete beginners to advanced.
Your children will have lively and interactive Spanish classes: each day, the class takes them one step closer to achieving the goal: to communicate more and better in Spanish.
Spanish classes are offered at 5 levels:
- Low Beginners.
- High Beginners.
- Intermediate 1.
- Intermediate 2.
- Advanced.
We offer Spanish courses for Kids and Teens in small groups (3 - 8 students) with afternoon and Saturday classes and private one-to-one tuition with flexible schedules and intensity.
Each group session lasts 6 weeks and includes a total of 24 lessons of instruction (1 lesson = 45 minutes). Classes meet 2 times a week from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm on Monday and Wednesday or on Tuesday and Thursday. Saturday classes are also available. Students can join ongoing sessions any time.
Children will be placed with students of their age group and level and will study in a setting that is comfortable for kids and teens. Students must take the placement test before the beginning of their classes.
We do not place students with different levels in the same group. If there is only one or two students in the class, the number of lessons is reduced to 2 lessons a week and our students will receive private (semi-private) classes at discounted rate.
Our customized private Spanish tutoring with one-to-one classes are tailor made for each student. We will analyze your individual Spanish learning goals and create a personalized program adapted to you with regard to the course content and a timetable of your course. The tuition fee for one-to-one classes is $36.00 per lesson.
Spanish at Advanced level is offered only as a private one-to-one course.
Your children can start learning Spanish at Arizona Language Institute and continue with the summer immersion program abroad. We offer a unique opportunity for our younger students to learn Spanish and experience a great Summer holiday in Spain and Mexico.
If your children are between 5 and 18 years old, they can now participate in our International Junior Summer Camps in Spain and Mexico and enjoy an educational holiday at some of the best facilities available.
