Spanish Language courses for Adult Learners are communicative based with an emphasis on developing speaking and listening skills. Students also learn grammar and structure and develop their reading and writing skills. The goal of our Spanish classes is to make you comfortable using Spanish in any situation you may encounter in everyday life.
All our teachers are native Spanish speakers dedicated to teaching Spanish to speakers of other languages. All of them have university degrees and experience and are passionate about teaching their native language.
Arizona Language Institute in Phoenix offers small, student-centered Spanish language classes for all levels of Spanish proficiency - from complete beginners to advanced.
You will have lively and interactive Spanish classes: each day, the class takes you one step closer to achieving your goal: to communicate more and better in Spanish. For this reason, we integrate all skills in the classroom, combining various tasks and activities.
Spanish classes are offered at 5 levels:
- Low Beginners.
- High Beginners.
- Intermediate 1.
- Intermediate 2.
- Advanced.
We offer Spanish courses for Adult Learners in small groups (3 - 8 students) with evening and Saturday classes and private one-to-one tuition with flexible schedules and intensity.
Each group session lasts 6 weeks and includes a total of 24 lessons of instruction (1 lesson = 45 minutes). Classes meet 2 times a week from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday and Wednesday or on Tuesday and Thursday. Students can join ongoing sessions any time.
You will be placed with students of your level and will study in a setting that is comfortable for adult learners. Students must take the placement test before the beginning of their classes.
We do not place students with different levels in the same group. If there are only one or two students in the class, the number of lessons is reduced to 2 lessons a week and you will receive private (semi-private) classes at discounted rate.
Our customized private Spanish tutoring with one-to-one classes are tailor made for each student. We will analyze your individual Spanish learning goals and create a personalized program adapted to you with regard to the course content and a timetable of your course. The tuition fee for one-to-one classes is $36.00 per lesson.
Spanish at Advanced level is offered only as a private one-to-one course.
You can start learning Spanish at Arizona Language Institute and continue with immersion program abroad. Spanish Language Travel Abroad and Spanish Language and Culture Immersion Programs are offered by Arizona Language Institute's partner Spanish language Schools located in 14 cities of Spain and in 15 countries of Latin America. We have special agreements with our partner schools - all students of Arizona Language Institute enrolled in our partner schools in Spain and Latin America will receive a 10% discount on tuition fees.
Our internationally recognized partner Spanish schools offer you a wide variety of Spanish language immersion courses in Spain and Latin America and introduce you to various aspects of Spanish and Latin American culture and society. Spanish language lessons at our schools focus on communication; beyond grammar books and written exercises, our professors include a variety of oral and listening elements with up-to-date technology to stimulate a comprehensive understanding of the Spanish language and Spanish and Latin American Culture.
