You will study German language in small groups (3 to 8 students) 4 class hours a week. Each session lasts 6 weeks and includes a total of 24 lessons of instruction (1 lesson = 45 minutes). Classes meet 2 times a week from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday and Wednesday or on Tuesday and Thursday. Students can join ongoing sessions any time. We also offer Saturday group classes.
You will have lively and interactive German language classes. French classes are communicative based with an emphasis on developing speaking and listening skills. Students also learn grammar and structure and develop their reading and writing skills. The goal of our German classes is to make you comfortable using the language in any situation you may encounter in everyday life.
Our teachers will provide you with the ability and confidence you need to face the world in German. All our teachers are highly qualified native German speakers with university degrees and experience in teaching German as a foreign language.
Group German language classes are offered at 4 levels:
- Low Beginners.
- High Beginners.
- Intermediate 1.
- Intermediate 2.
German at Advanced level is offered as a private one-to-one course.
You will be placed with students of your level and will study in a setting that is comfortable for adult learners. Students must take the placement test before the beginning of their classes. We do not place students with different levels in the same group. If there is only one or two students student in the class, the number of lessons is reduced to 2 lessons a week and you will receive private (semi-private) classes at discounted rate.
We also offer customized private tutoring with one-to-one classes. All individual German language courses are tailor made for each student. We will analyze your individual German learning goals and create a personalized program adapted to you with regard to the course content and a timetable of your course. The tuition fee is $36.00 per lesson. Minimum package: 10 one-to-one lessons.
You can start learning German at Arizona Language Institute and continue with immersion program abroad. German Language Travel Abroad and German Language and Culture Immersion Programs are offered by Arizona Language Institute's partner German language Schools located in Germany and Austria. We have special agreements with our partner schools - all students of Arizona Language Institute enrolled in our partner schools abroad will receive a 5% discount on tuition fees.

These programs will introduce you to various aspects of German culture and society. German language lessons at our schools focus on communication; beyond grammar books and written exercises, our professors include a variety of oral and listening elements with up-to-date technology to stimulate a comprehensive understanding of the German language and German Culture.
