English for Job Search Success course is designed for high-beginning and intermediate ESL students to provide them with practice in job searching skills. The goal of this course is to increase students' potential for job-search success and to significantly raise their confidence level.
Language skill-building - with a special emphasis on listening, speaking, and vocabulary - is integrated throughout the course, as is the teaching of job searching cultural concepts.
English for Job Search Success course includes the following units:
- General preparation for the job search and the most common job-search strategies.
- Telephone skills necessary for the job search.
- Writing applications, resumes, and cover letters
- Focus on the job interview and interview follow-up.
English for Job Search Success is offered in mini-group classes for our students enrolled in the Intensive General English Plus program.
This course can be also taken separately as a private one-to-one course with flexible schedule to meet your specific needs and goals. 10 one-to-one lessons minimum. The tuition fee is $36.00 per lesson.
